Cages 2 Wings is a nonprofit organization that provides services and products that cater to the personal and academic development of at-risk youth. Our main curriculum is a T.H.I.N.K. Kit and LifeBook designed for optimum brain development to prepareyouth for academic and personal excellence. T.H.I.N.K. stands for Thinking Higher Involves Neurological Kindness and this curriculum includes a 7 week session kit with activities and innovative material to get youth thinking differently. Our program is innovative and stands out from the rest because we foster an environment of proactive learning. Proactive or pre-learning includes lessons to teach youth self-worth, self-esteem, life skills and social skills that are needed before academic learning even takes place. These skills are needed for youth to develop psychological coping mechanisms to deal with both academics and school life.
