I have many years experience caring for dogs, cats, and farm animals. I have pets of my own and have assisted with dog and cat rescue including feral cat spay/neuter trapping programs.

Chickens are a wonderful addition to any yard or garden. However, you can't take them with you when you travel. Perhaps you love having your own flock but find that you don't have the time necessary to maintain your coop or hutch? I am happy to provide one time or ongoing nontoxic cleaning services. I can also trim wings and nails on your pet chickens.

I work with chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, bunnies, horses, donkeys, dogs...even feral and not so feral cats.

In addition, I am happy to check your mail, water your plants, tend your garden.

How did the Backyard Critter Sitter come about?
After being laid off from my tech job I knew it was time to change directions and follow my true passion of working with animals full-time. I no longer wanted to sit behind a desk all day. Instead I enjoy traveling to clients' homes and farms to tend to their animals and gardens while they are away. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!
