About the business
Academic coaches focus on strategies for school success. Together we will create a "school success plan" for your child. Students will learn how to break down large assignments, create a homework completion plan, organize themselves for school, pick out appropriate school supplies that support their learning styles and acquire study and test taking skills. Academic coaches create these plans with the collaboration of parents, teachers and any therapists the student is also working with. Academic coaches can also function as a liaison between the parents and school as they advocate for the student's needs. Remediation of skills may also be necessary as part of the student's school success. Tutoring in the following areas is also available:
