About the business
I have been in the pet industry for 23 years. I was the owner of Connie's Groom 'N Board.
My passion has always been (since I was a little girl) animals of all kinds. My very 1st pet was a Spider Monkey, my father traveled for his work and he wanted me to have a pet that would travel well, then a German Shepard, and next was a Skunk!
Yes! you read it right, they would sell them in the pet stores back in the "70's",
imagine my surprise!! and well it carried on from there.
I moved here from Texas after selling my business to be closer to my Dad, wanting to still be in the pet industry but not knowing what.
One day my friend Sally asked me to watch her dog Oscar in her home for 2-3 days, really just to check on him, walk, feed, freshen water, and of course lots of belly rubs and TLC. When Sally returned, Oscar was so excited to see her he could hardly contain himself. Sally was amazed, he never acted like that when picked up from the Kennels, she said "Wow! you would make a great pet nanny."
And that's how
