My company is called "A Better-Companion Pet Care". We provide Customized Companion Pet Care Packages for Dogs, Cats and Other Pets to Fill our Clients' Needs. We can accommodate Companion Pet care requests with short notice if space is available. I have prior professional experience in the field of pet care servicing to draw on, having worked several years ago for another Loudoun County pet care/sitting service when I retired from a career in print, broadcast and online media. I have worked with all types of pets from wonderful rescues that needed very special handling and soft voice contacts, kittens, puppy litters to special needs senior citizen pets, purebreds, show dogs and cats that were worked with to exact owner specifications. I've provided care to many breeds of dogs and cats, all sizes, ages and stages, ponies and horses, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, birds, lizards, amphibians, and fresh and salt-water fish. On a personal note... I'm a Leesburg mom, age 46, who loves being involved with my family, my companion pets, my friends and my community. I believe in making a positive difference however I can do so. I created the company in 2010 when friends and neighbors told me that they would gladly pay me to care for their companion pets for mid-day walks/play and in-home care while they were on business or vacation travel this spring and summer. I love what I do! I spend a great deal of time outdoors with animals and people too, and the business has become my workout, as I'm exercising Companion Pets constantly! It's wonderful to turn a passion into a career.
