You shouldn't have to choose between taking care of your family and voting. Care to Vote is a partnership between Care.com, caregivers, and families like yours. We want to get more voices counted by giving people the time and support they need to vote.
On October 22, Care.com Premium members will automatically receive 3 CareCredits worth up to $15 to pay a participating caregiver on the Care.com platform. You can use these credits towards child care so you can go vote.
While $15 is the average hourly rate for babysitters on Care.com, sitters set their rates and may charge more per hour.
Your CareCredits will automatically apply to payments you make to a caregiver through Care.com. You'll see them in Payment details before you send a one-time booking request or complete a one-time payment.
There are 2 ways to redeem your CareCredits:
Book a sitter through Care.com by searching One-time babysitters for the date and time you plan to go vote.
Your credits will automatically apply to your payment for the booking.
If your regular babysitter is enrolled in our payments platform, pay them through Care.com. Go to Payments and select Make instant one-time payments. Your credits will automatically apply to your next transaction.
Your credits will expire at 12:00am PT on November 30, 2020. Make sure to use them before!
Yes! Join Care.com and upgrade to Premium membership before November 3. The $15 in credits will appear in your Premium account.
