Job Description:

The Sales Development Representative for LifeMart is responsible for acquiring new client partnerships for the LifeMart platform. This role involves expanding LifeMart's client base by identifying mid-tier to top-tier companies looking to provide their employees or members with the LifeMart Discount Program. The ideal candidate will possess experience in inside sales strategies to help secure partnerships with companies within the identified target industry verticals.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for finding and qualifying potential leads, contacts, and opportunities.
  • Outbound outreach to potential clients to introduce the LifeMart platform.
  • Drive direct sales efforts to establish a portfolio of potential client partners.
  • Develop, pitch, and negotiate high-level client partnerships.
  • Assist with due diligence processes for onboarding new client partners.
  • Assist with the seamless hand-off of newly signed clients to the LifeMart Account Management Team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the benefits of the LifeMart Program.
  • Become the primary contact for Account Managers regarding new client pipeline.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Monitor performance against sales funnel metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience or relevant background.
  • Membership industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in service solution sales, commission-based deal structures, and consultative sales techniques.
  • Strong business development, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, customer-centric approach, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Track record of negotiating favorable financial terms and deals consistently.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking skills.
  • Demonstrated success in managing multiple assignments efficiently.
  • Collaborative team player willing to support colleagues and complete tasks effectively.

Salary:  $50,000 + Uncapped Commission 

The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
