Choosing care for your little ones is a tough decision, I know and have been there. With three children myself I understand how important it is to have great care for them. I am licensed through Isanti County and MN DHS. I am CPR/First Aid Certified and SUID and AHT trained. I am also a part of the food program. Healthy meals and snacks everyday--not to say we do not have the occasional treat or celebrate birthdays or other large accomplishments. Small group size at my daycare allow for your children to get the attention and care they need and desire. A home setting is comfortable and familiar to kids, they can relax and be themselves. An enriching environment that not only promotes learning, but an environment that kids want and will thrive in. I promote age appropriate independence for example, putting shoes and coats on, assist with potty training , help with meal prep (older kids), big kids reading to little kids or other peers. Team work and problem solving. Helping hands is a big part of my home, you lend a hand when in need and you get a hand when needed. I do not offer a curriculum but by using games and songs and writing activities/crafts we will work on the basic learning skills such as ABCs, counting and numbers, colors, shapes, etc. Home daycare is not just for preschoolers, kindergartners and infants. Big kids are welcome too! I have learning activities and games to enhance not only reading skills but math too as well as fun activities fit for bigger kids!
