Our Philosophy
We believe that your child’s most formative years are now. We feel that it is important to foster their skills as a basis to build upon as they go through life. We also feel that it is our obligation to promote positive self esteem.
We believe that each child is a unique personwith an individual pattern and timing of growth as well as individual personality, learning style and family background. All children have special needs; a quality educator identifies those needs and nurtures them without making the child feel different from his/her peers.
We believe that parents and educators are partners in providing a stable and appropriate environment for our children. We encourage active learning through organized play, hands on exploration, loving interactions and fun.
Age appropriate and child initiated activities are planned and presented by our professional staff.
We believe that the love, understanding and care that your child receives from each staff member will reinforce a positive self image. Our staff will treat each child with respect and dignity; in doing so, we will teach the children to behave and respond in a positive manner.
Planet Kids INC employs experienced and well trained staff. In addition, the staff has been trained on CPR, First Aid, COVID-19, and blood borne Pathogens, as well as positive discipline techniques.
Planet Kids is a licensed facility that meets and exceeds Washington State
requirements.

It is our mission to provide a stimulating environment. This is accomplished by implementing curriculum to enhance fine and gross motor skills, social/emotional skills, language development, self help skills, the ability to play cooperatively with others, positive self esteem, and creative development.
