About Zuzu

Hello! I was born and raised in New York City, where I attended an early college program and worked at school as a writing tutor for both the high school and college programs. My career in early childhood education began in 2011, when I worked as a Playground Associate for the New York City Parks and Recreation. Responsible for activity planning and playground maintenance, I worked to make the summer a memorable one for 100 New York children! While getting my degree, I worked as a part time babysitter and a full time nanny watching children as young as 6 months old to as old as 12 years old. We played soccer and rode our bikes outside, read stories and created our own. As a Family Literacy Instructor, I assisted in literacy circle time with preschoolers and their mothers. I also planned Family Fun Day literacy activities for the whole family. On the side, I tutored middle schoolers in English and Math. I am looking forward to working with you and your family!
