Hello! My formal career in early childhood caregiving began in 2011, when I worked as a Playground Associate for the New York City Parks and Recreation. Responsible for activity planning and playground maintenance, I worked to make the summer a memorable one for 100 New York children! I developed and ran my own babysitting network when I lived in Portland, OR, providing part time care and full time care to children aged 5 months to 9 years and from then I have since worked with children as a part-time caregiver in cities and on farms, including Hawthorne Valley Farm where we herded cows and told stories while making butter.
