About Zulfiyya

I am working with an almost 100-year-old client who lives at home and Zulfiyya and her husband are the live-in caregivers and the managers of the client’s care and the household. By now, they have been living with him for almost 6 years. The client has Parkinson’s, Parkinson’s induced dementia, congestive heart failure (CHF), various skin problems, and limited mobility. They manage every aspect of the client’s life, including social gatherings, the caregiver team, medical care. They manage medical appointments and all medications, communicating with the doctors, especially updating them on changing conditions of the client’s health, etc. Both spent several nights in the hospital when the client had long, or short hospital stays and took care of the client during the hospital stay and communicate between the doctors and the family of the client. They have experience with Hoyer lift, moving the client not only inside the house but also transporting him to the appointments and to a neighboring state for weekend vacations. The client has an active social life. Zulfiyya and her husband organize at-home and outside of home socials. The client gets guests regularly. Zulfiyya is the cook for all these dinner gatherings at home. She is an amazing cook! Also, they cook almost daily fresh and delicious dinners for themselves and the client. They manage a large household, which is always clean and nicely put together. Zulfiyya takes care of a large terrace and many indoor plants. Overall, Zulfiyya and her husband are exceptional and diligent caregivers, hardworking, honest, reliable, and open-minded people! They lived in different countries, speak many languages and traveled a lot, which make them such interesting people. Zulfiyya grew up her grandparents, which makes her an exceptional caregiver!
