About Zola

With ADHD myself, I am all too familiar with the shortcomings of the education system when it comes to addressing the needs of those who are neurodivergent, and my teaching method is a tad unconventional as a result. Expect lots of singing, movement, and art-making! (Many neurodivergents are allergic to "should." Ordering them about and expecting them to fawn over a subject they hate will go nowhere fast). I am passionate about the arts, and I am a pretty good emcee as far as getting others excited goes. I am so excited to see what this opportunity has in store! In regard to pets, I love them! The more the merrier. I'd describe my personality as philosophical, sensitive, and kooky. I like tutoring because I've been told that I am helpful in an academic setting! In my spare time, I like to play guitar and piano, write music, write stories and skits, and participate in arts and crafts of every kind (except for pottery).
