About Zoie

I am a college student at George Mason University and have been studying there for three years. My passion for elementary level education goes back to one of my very first jobs as a tutor for my middle school peer program. Since then I have been involved in education in a variety of ways, including being a homeschool educator, as well as gaining a significant amount of experience with childhood development through my work as a nanny. My approach to tutoring emphasizes the creation and utilization of executive functioning and organizational tools that can be applied to any topic throughout their education careers. When working with students I prioritize comprehension and understanding by personalizing the way that I tutor to each student in order to best fit their learning style and learning gaps. I believe that each child needs different tools to succeed but success is absolutely obtainable.
