Hello! First, let me tell you that I am the oldest of 3 in my family and 22 cousins in total. I was raised in a loving family environment with structure and discipline. Since young, I participated in youth groups at my church where I stood as the leader. In addition, I lead several community service projects specifically designed for children. Also I took care of my younger siblings and their friends since I was the oldest; mostly during my high school years. As well, for 13 years I was an active member in an organization for girls, where I worked as supervision staff for 6 seasonal camps. Once in college I dedicated myself to study and to take care of one of my cousins before and after school. During that time we played, dropped off and pick up him from school, helped him study, I prepared something to eat and get him ready for bed. Years later I started to help my friends with their children as babysitter. Nowadays I work full time for a non profit with a mission to build girl leaders. I work as a teacher, leader, translator, but above all as the example and adult responsible for the girls participating in our daily programs and seasonal camps.
