After 3 years of working in special education, first as a behavioral aide and then as a teacher, I am excited to support children outside of a school setting. I am highly skilled in providing emotional, behavioral, and educational support to children with diverse needs. While providing this support, I take great joy in using humor, play, and genuine care to foster an environment where children feel safe to be themselves. Outside of my work in education, I have 10+ years of experience as a sitter and a nanny, working with children ages 6 months to 13 years old. In this work, I love to engage children in reading, singing, dancing, exploring nature, and investigating their unique interests. Please note: I do NOT drive. Walking and public transport are my primary means of transportation. I am happy to use these modes of transportation with the children in my care -- I find many children enjoy the bus and train!

Zoe initially starting out working for our family farm and has become a long time friend. Her affinity for children was apparent as soon as we met her and she quickly began babysitting for us as well. She truly loves playing with kids of all ages and is fabulous at it. She is responsible, hard working and always ready to jump in and help. If she can negotiate our 3 kids, I think she can do just about anything!!
