About Zoe

I just moved to the Boston area from California, where I was a nanny for two children for over a year. My responsibilities included picking them up from school, preparing snacks, helping with homework, driving them to all their activities, and playing games and sports with them! I also enforced rules put in place by their parents, and had excellent communication with their parents about scheduling, notes from school, etc. Before California, I was working in South Africa for nearly two years in multiple schools, orphanages, after-school programs, and nurseries. I helped with making lesson and activity plans for every day on project. At the two nurseries I spent most of my time at, I helped plan stimulating activities that helped children learn about writing and recognizing the alphabet, numbers, their names, and colors to help prepare them for grade school. Because I spent time on so many projects, I gained experience with children of all age groups. I also have 4 seasons paid experience as a ski instructor, where I taught the basics of skiing to children of all ages.
