About Zoe

I am currently a student at Iowa State University studying Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and English Language Arts. I student teach next spring with the hopes of working as a 2nd or 3rd grade classroom teacher following graduation. As for my involvement at Iowa State, I am in a sorority (Gamma Phi Beta), I am a member of the Sparkles squad (an all inclusive cheer/dance squad), and I work in the office of the Dean of the College of Human Sciences as a student assistant. I also recently have gotten my license to substitute teach! I have been babysitting since I was 13 with kids of all ages and abilities as well as 1 year of daycare experience. I have been a summer nanny for 3 girls for the past 4 summers and I have loved getting to know them so well and seeing them grow. I love swimming and being outside with kids as well as finding innovative ways to make everyday fun. I love working with children and I cannot wait until it gets to become my full-time career!
