Hello! My name is Zoe, and I adore working with kids. At 12 years old I was babysitting a lot for my infant brother, who is on the spectrum. He has some language and speech difficulties, adhd, and goes to occupational therapy for help developing some fine motor skills as well as reading social cues. I am by no means certified or have a formal education in caring for kids with special needs, but I definitely understand and am accustomed to the extra patience and care it can take! Its so important for these kids to feel understood, cared for, and safe. As a secondary caregiver, I personally think that having a secondary caregiver for these kids is really beneficial, so they can get the attention they need from someone who understands them while a parent is away or working! I love imaginary play, arts and crafts, music and dancing, and outside playground time! I would love to help provide care for your little one.
