Hi! I specialize in emotional and behavioral development, arts education, inspired learning methods, as well as cooking and baking (including dietary restrictions). When working with children I always aim to leave them feeling safe to express, inspired to be curious, and excited to experience! I am communicative and assuring with parents while leaving them room to know their children are safe, nurtured, and happy no matter where they are. I prefer to work with 1-2 families on a long term basis and have no problem with larger families. I've worked with ages 0 months to 18 years in groups up to 18 children. I have 9 years of experience within childcare as: -Daycare Teacher (1 year) -Summer Camp Instructor (2 years) -Music Program Director (3 years) -Live-Out Nanny (5 years) I worked one of these jobs seasonally, most while attending university, and a few simultaneously. As hobbies, I love to read, garden, cook, have tea time, play and listen to music, paint, and more!

Zarriah was a lovely and perfectly timed nanny for us! Im a single mom and needed some help since my mom was getting to the point where she couldn’t help out as much anymore. I originally met Zarriah because she’s a friend of a friend’s niece and she was working in the center where I was looking at summer day care but I wasn’t ready to have my baby in group care yet. I wanted someone who would give her as much personalized attention as me or my mom would. Zarriah was coincidentally looking to pick up a 2nd job before college and started out with us for a summer as a trial, Baby G was 18 months at the time. She very quickly became my go to part time and emergency nanny for us just a few weeks later!!! She’s a bright young lady and prioritizes well, because she was still in college at the time and was always so attentive and engaged with Baby G. She had activities that Baby G loved and I would have her back home and realize she was learning a lot from them too! Zarriah was so patient and kind with my Baby G, and I got to know her over our 3 years together and she is just a joy to have around! You’ll know as soon as you get to see her in action!!! I would love to have her back, but I’ve moved states and she’s also moved to new areas. I’m so happy for this next chapter for her…we miss you Zarriah!
