I have been providing senior care for 5 years now and I love my job. I am certified by the state. I currently am working for 2 senior care agencies but I need to do some extra work to achieve my goal. My ultimate goal is to become a nurse and when I first stepped into my caregiving profession I wanted to be trained in the care portion. I believe that in order to be a great nurse you need to have empathy and really care about the people you take care off. I believe that you need to care enough to get to know everyone you take off. Which is why caregiving has been one of my biggest blessings. I love all of the people I take care off.
