I love working with kids because I'm a big kid at heart myself! My main goal is to create a safe and caring space for them, where they can freely express themselves and know that I truly listen to what they have to say. I want to boost their confidence and motivate them to do their best in school and in life, helping them grow both academically and emotionally. For almost 5 years, I've worked as a behavioralist for kiddos on the spectrum from ages 3-21. I've worked with them in their homes teaching them life skills like cooking and hygiene. I've also worked with them in their school settings and focused on their academics and keeping them engaged. I'm currently working on my BA at SJSU for my future career as a occupational therapist for children and adults! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, excited, and compassionate!
