About Zahra

Hi y'all! My name is Zahra, nice to meet you! I'm a graduate student at Columbia studying museum anthropology, and I am looking to fill time between summer positions taking care of some little ones. I also am a part time staff member at the AMNH (meaning I can take your little ones to most museums for free!) and I have also worked in the service industry in all front-of-house positions for most of my academic career. As a carer, I am reliable and relaxed in both my communication and approach to sitting. I am flexible in my care and am driven by the individual needs of the kids, their schedules, and making sure that the parents feel confident and safe with me. I have always loved sharing experiences with little ones. I have had full time and part time sitter positions since high school, where I have easily and responsibly taken care of infants and older kids of all ages.
