I'd describe my personality as someone who's resilient, hardworking, and compassionate. I like tutoring because as a first-generation student, I have firsthand witnessed the impact that mentoring and tutoring has on a person's educational journey. My tutors in college were one of the reasons why I only didn't just pass but also excelled in some of my harder courses. As someone who's been both a provider and a receiver when it comes to tutoring, I firmly believe in the importance of tutoring. I'm looking for a job that requires me to be a keen educator. I have been informally tutoring for a long time. I am the eldest of 4 siblings and also one of the oldest cousins to have gone to college. So I've had my fair shares of tutoring my siblings and cousins. I also served as a teaching assistant for two of my medical school classes, so I also have experience of working with an older age group. In my spare time, I like to listen to podcasts, good music, and go on walks.
