About Zachary

I was always surrounded by dogs growing up. I even had small birds as a kid. My older sisters had houses and dogs of their own, (lab, Dalmatian, pit bull, lab/German Shepard mix) and usually needed me for pet/house sitting. My skills include being patient, attentive and communicative. Being patient with animals is important to having a good caretaking experience. If they make a mistake, understand it's no different than taking care of a child. Through time they can understand and grasp routine and complex concepts. Some animals need space, but some need extra attention. I've experienced both of these personalities throughout my time of dog and cat ownership. It's important to be attentive to any animal. Some just need to feel your presence without any disturbance to be at peace. Communicating with your animals is how You can understand what they need. Animals understand body language and eye contact. It's important to read these things In your animal as well.
