I was the former steward at Khaluna, this was a role where I cared for the restaurants plants and detail cleaned the Front of House (booths, cabinetry, bar faces, wood & tile flooring, giant wooden custom chandeliers) while also deep cleaning areas of high traffic and usage in the Back of House (under the dish pit, employee locker area, server boxing station). In addition to cleaning duties, I also helped with design and flow (adjusting decor for the best spots for plants to thrive, reorganizing tables for a better floor-plan and balance) I like to think of cleanings like a dentist: if you've been avoiding taking care of your teeth, you're not going to feel fully clean and satisfied just by brushing. You need to brush and then get in there with floss, scrap with a dental tool in spots, rinse with a mouthwash and then brush again! A home cannot feel fully clean until you've flossed every nook and cranny, which requires intention and focus.
