I have experience caring for individuals both at home and in a nursing home. As I am more interested in the providing quality care, my aim is to facilitate a person to live life to their highest potential. Being creative and practically inclined has been a big asset in providing home health care. This opens doors for a more fulfilling and joyful life for a client, whatever stage of life they are at. My younger brother, who has been afflicted with ALS for 14 years, gets his nourishment via a G-tube. He also breathes via a ventilator and has a trach. I visit with him regularly to give his wife some respite time or when we have family gatherings or events. We go on every outing possible, such as adaptive skiing and hiking, to the beach, the mountains, movie theater, and sporting events. We build things together and play games (for example: board games adaptive style). My desire is to enhance a person's life while caring for him/her medically in their own home. I am always eager to learn more about my client and their interests to provide the better care and treat them with dignity. I truly enjoy contributing to the over-all well-being of every person. As an LPN, I have provided care for people with multiple diagnoses, including end-of-life. I am honest, kind, fun-loving, creative and respectful. I would be interested in learning about how I could contribute to your, or your loved one's, ease of living with warm and professional care. Thank you for your interest!
