About Yumiko

Hi! My name is Yumiko and I use they/them pronouns. I've been working in childcare since I was 13. I've worked with children of all ages and all abilities. I'm currently in online school studying psychology. I love playing outdoors, going on adventures, doing arts and crafts and making music with kids. I can't wait to meet your family. It takes a village! I am also a doula and have 2 years of experience in that field. This brings a set of skills around breast feeding, contact naps and working with pumped milk. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, charismatic and grounding. I like working with kids because they are the most intelligent people and have taught me more than most adults. I am constantly inspired by their wit. I'm looking for a job that is inclusive to my gender identity, treats me with respect and is collaborative. In my spare time, I like to make music, film photography and spend time with my partner.
