Hi I am Alejandra, I am from Colombia. I worked in my country taking care of 2 children, one was 1-year-old and the other 7, this was 4 years ago. I worked with them for 9 months, then they moved to another city. After that family, I took care of a 2-year-old girl. The parents worked all day. I cooked and cleaned the family's house. I was also in charge of bathing and taking the girl to medical appointments. I stopped working with her because I had to go back to my studies. I love taking care of children so much that I had the opportunity to come to the United States with the au pair program. I came to a family that has 3 children. I loved working with them. I worked with them for 4 months. I also took care of their personal belongings, bathing them and cooking for them. I also took them to music classes and to the park. The best thing about taking care of children is that you learn a lot from them.
