About Yuan

I am an energetic, patient, reliable, and fun certified Special Education teacher with over 16 years of experience in and out of the classroom. I am currently a social skills teacher for grades K - 8. I have also taught reading, writing, math, and spelling to elementary aged students. In my teaching career I have worked with elementary, middle, and high school students. My students always had various needs ranging from Autism, learning disabilities in reading, writing, spelling, and math, ADD/ADHD, and emotional/behavioral concerns. I have taught in various school settings such as the classroom, small groups, and one on one settings. With me your child will receive differentiated instruction based on their individual needs. With experience reading and writing Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504's, I can target your child's specific areas of concerns. I believe that you know your student best so I believe that collaboration is the key to success!
