About Ysabel

After 3 years as a summer camp educator and now as an elementary garden teacher, I find nurturing children's growth and development incredibly rewarding. My passion for caring for children stems from my time educating kids in the outdoors and my desire to make a positive impact on their lives. I would say I have a patient, calm, creative and silly personality which allows me to connect with children effortlessly. My approach to childcare involves open communication with parents, where I provide verbal updates at pickup and follow their preferred communication method to address any issues that arise. When it comes to playtime, I enjoy engaging kids in outdoor adventures, board games, card games and educational activities that promote learning. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoy using both languages with the kids I have the opportunity to spend time with.
