My typical day at work was putting the residents needs first and usually assisting residents with disability and/or chronic illness to maintain maximum function. As a Caregiver, my responsibilities includes bathing, dressing and feeding residents. Assisting with transfers, walking, and. I also monitor and report residents blood pressure, temperatures and pulse readings to supervisory nurse. I also assist them with housekeeping, laundry, dinning service, activities and help with reminder to take their meditations so that the resident will live comfortably and on their own terms.
