About Yolantae

Hello, My name is Yolantae. I'm an early childhood educator and tutor, currently teaching Pre-k. However, I desire to leave the classroom and take on family full time and to grow with. I have a 7-year-old daughter of my own that I homeschooled her until age 4. My little miracle baby was born at 26 weeks. Being that I delivered a 26-weeker, I have experience with premature babies. I also have trained with occupational, physical and speech therapists. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I've been in the field for 10+ years. I've worked with children of all ages but have taught birth-pre-k and first grade. I focus on the following developmental areas: gross and fine motor, language and literacy, cognitive development, and social and emotional. I also assist with bridging the gap between home and school. Additional to education, I mentor preteens and teenagers and love to cook and decorate. I'm not comfortable with pets.
