About Yasmin

My name is Yasmin, I graduated from Drury university with a biology/premed degree. I currently work at mercy hospital as a Patient care technician at a med surgery floor since 2022. I provide total patient care to my patients besides given medication. I help them with activities during the day, assist feeding if necessary, emptying drains, taking vitals signs, given them a bath and helping cleaning if they are incontinent. We do training on how to perform CPR on adults and babies. Being a tech I can also perform tube feeding and remove IVs and catheters. I love to take care of people and make them feel better. I like caring for people because I think when you do get old things gets a little lonely and they don't really receive the necessary attention. Even if they are not sick, having a companion is necessary. Senior people are just as important as a new born.
