Was introduced to Yarlene by a mutual friend and have utilized her for babysitting. She was a fantastic sitter for my clingy, breastfed 7-month-old. She came highly recommended and having seen the quality of care she provides firsthand, I couldn’t agree more. My only regret is not finding her sooner and before another family had her under contract for nannying! Yarlene is incredibly caring, fun, and creative. My son immediately fell for her — they always have a great time when she watches him. He’s so smitten by her that he doesn’t even cry when I drop him off or run to me when I pick him up. He truly enjoys the intentional care that Yarlene offers. She has great instincts and intuition for identifying baby cues for hunger, tiredness, diaper change, different stimuli, and the need for interaction. It’s clear she’s a seasoned caregiver. Yarlene also understands developmentally appropriate stimuli and activities. My son was constantly engaged and positively stimulated during his time with her. She was eager to include parent-requested activities and raised a dialogue with me about activities she had in mind to ensure my level of comfort/preferences were met. I could not recommend her more for children of all ages — especially for babies!
