About Yanis

I have 16 years of full-time / in-home caregiving experience -- everything from basic home care to dementia / Alzheimer's, cancer, and hospice. I was also previously a pharmacy tech for 6 years and in law enforcement for 15 years, until a caregiving job required my full attention and I had to resign. I volunteered at two senior care Alzheimer's units. There's more to my story, but the "About Me" text box is small. My experience is extensive and diverse, but in short, my passion lies in caregiving. I understand the need for reliable and safe senior care, I've been in your position myself. I hope to be able to show up as a helpful and friendly face, and to reassure you that the person caring for your loved one, actually "cares." I'd describe my personality as kind, creative, and optimistic. I started caring for seniors in 2008. In my spare time, I write and make documentary films centered on topics of nostalgia.
