About Yamile

Hi! I'm Yamile. I am currently a first-year graduate student in the School Psychology master's program at the University of Connecticut. Previously, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Western Connecticut State University in Spring 2023, graduating Magna Cum Laude. My experience includes providing support to adults with developmental disabilities in the group home setting, as well as working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, providing services. Additionally, I've volunteered in Early Childhood programs such as Head Start, offering support to teachers, children, and families with or without disabilities. I've also served as a program assistant in community organizations like the Boys and Girls Club, where I served children from 6-13. I currently work part time as a Developmental Therapy Assistant for Birth-to-Three and I am looking for extra work on the weekends! I look forward to hearing from you!
