Xochil has worked with my mom since mid-2024 (2 days per work), following my mom's release from an extended rehabilitation stay. Xochil handles bathing (in a very challenging, small bathroom) and other personal care/light housekeeping needs and also takes my mom out for lunch and social time. I am particularly grateful for Xochil's patience and persistent with my mom, who was not particularly receptive to having a caregiver in the first place and is not particularly communicative about her wants and needs. Xochil provides text summaries at the end of the day, which help reduce worry. This elder care situation can be challenging and it is a great benefit to have Xochil as another set of eyes and ears to ensure we are aware of and responsive to my mom's needs.
