About Xiaowei

Hello! I graduated from University of Washington with a BS in Neuroscience and Biochemistry and a minor in Business. I developed a passion for teaching in sophomore year after designing and leading a community building course for freshman with a focus on mental health during the transition period from high school to college. I taught General Chemistry as a teaching assistant at University of Washington for 2 years, focusing on setting up a good foundation for upper level classes. I am also a private AP chemistry and Biology tutor for 2 years. I also taught preschool math. I enjoy interacting and getting to know my beyond. I strongly believe that every student is unique and I strive to stay flexible and adapt to their unique needs. My goal is to become a physician and I enjoy sharing my personal experiences about healthcare with students who are interested in a career in healthcare.
