About Xena

I babysat my grade school cousins during high school. I experienced having to utilize play techniques to get them into the car to go home when they resisted. "You're gonna go on a rocket powered picnic ride!" as I gave them toy foods. I have supported my younger brothers in academics when they were growing up. These academics included math, reading, writing, and any electives or other academics they needed to complete. I worked as lifeguard over the summer of 2019. This involved watching and reminding swimmers, many of whom were children, of rules and proper behaviors and constant awareness. This also involved reporting issues to the manager and involved continuous review and training in First Aid and CPR. I am majoring in Special Education Learning Behavior Specialist at Illinois State University. I will be a Junior in the fall of 2020. I have observed children in a school or daycare setting from the grades of preschool through high school.
