I have 32 years of experience at state facility for persons with ID. Upon the closure of the facility and pending furlough, I retired. In my last position, my duties included but were not limited to discharge and transition. I started my career as direct care staff. I also worked in a residential setting supporting persons with ID/ASD. Furloughed with 13 years of experience when company decided to close that residence. In June 2020, I received a certificate for completing Personal Care Aide training. I have years of experience in supporting persons with their needs to better enhance their lives. Years of training include the standard Human Services trainings: Human Rights, First Aid, CPR, Lifting, Dressing, Baths, Medication Administration, G-Tube Nutrition, TOVA, HIPAA, and Diabetes Management.
