My experience with animals is lifelong and multi-faceted. Growing up I had an integral role in the care of our barnyard; feeding, grooming, mucking up... I also did daily well-checks, interacting and simulating thru exercising each animal as needed. I was in 4H, (president of our equestrian club), studied animal husbandry, and currently care for our own 4 cats (one is special needs), 3 dogs, and 12 chickens. I am retired and it has been years since I have worked with horses, sheep, goats, donkeys, or cows. However, I am not intimidated by the idea of once again working with these wonderful animals. Just need to get my boots dirty a few times to get in the flow. Most recently, I worked at the Humane Society. I started as a kennel tech cleaning kennels, feeding and exercising the animals but ended my career in adoption and surrender. I do have references available. Your best friend will be well cared for and given much attention, conveniently in their own homes and barns.
