About Wylie

Hi there! My name is Wylie and I graduated from Emerson College where I majored in both K-5 Education as well as Theater Performance. My Education major taught me how to make classroom learning easier for elementary school students by tailoring lessons to the individual student's interests. After graduating, I worked with Parker-Anderson Enrichment in Los Angeles during the pandemic, leading in-person of 5 kids each, helping create a sense of community and normalcy during 2020 through 2022. I also tutored one-on-one, and taught online extracurricular classes. I have a long history as a camp counselor, a babysitter, and have been freelance tutoring for elementary school kids since leaving Parker-Anderson Enrichment. I believe kids thrive academically when their interests feel seen and valued! I will be kind and encouraging to your child, and I'll always personalize whatever they're working on-- to them!
