My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer around 2020 when I was a senior in high school. She quickly started to decline by the time I started college. I then became my father phrased it "night shift" and would administer her medication every 4 and 6 hours. Soon after a couple of surgeries, she was then in the hospital one last time to then come home on hospice. Short few ays later she passed later in the night and I didn't miss any second with her only to get rest. I am a very dedicated caretaker, a very dedicated as of recently mother and quite empathetic.
