About Wilma

I am a licensed teacher with over 15 years of experience in charter schools in CO, TN, and AZ. Before that, I homeschooled my two children and taught at a home school study center. I also have an ESL endorsement. l value fun, curiosity, and creativity. I am loyal, kind, and persistent. I have taught literature, writing, remedial reading, grammar, history, logic, and Latin, primarily to high schoolers and middle schoolers. However, I also taught grades 3-5 for six years. I home schooled my own children from kindergarten through high school in all subjects, including math. I worked with Exceptional Ed students as well. In my spare time, I like to read, write, practice yoga, hike, garden, and bake. My skills include time management, caring spaces, and professionalism.
