Wilma was very compassionate and kind to my 88-yr-old mother with dementia. She rode with Mom in the wheelchair transport to our gathering so Mom wouldn't be afraid. She spoke kindly to Mom and didn't mind repeating herself and explaining things to her. She fed Mom, which was very helpful, and helped her keep track of who was who with a houseful of people and great-grandkids running around. Wilma is very personable, has a great sense of humor, and we thoroughly enjoyed having her at our family Christmas gathering. We had great dinner conversation with her and she fit right in with our crazy family. My Mom just loved her and Wilma was sweet when Mom wanted to hold her hand. She rode back to the long-term facility with Mom and even stayed, helped get her changed, and tucked into bed, after which she let me know they returned home safely and Mom was ok. She provided great communication before our event, and was helpful in setting up a phone call with me to get to know her a little. She provided references, too. I highly recommend Wilma if you're looking for someone to take care of your loved one. We will definitely be calling her again.
