About Willow

I have 3 years of experience working in a daycare, and one year working in elementary schools as a Speech Paraeducator. I'll be starting grad school to become a Speech-Language Pathologist this Fall at St. Ambrose. My favorite part of working with kids is being able to support their learning through their curiosity and exploration. My speech therapy sessions are often child-lead and child-focused. Meaning I let the child lead where the session goes and what we do while I provide guidance. As a nanny I would do the same. Give the child the opportunity to explore what they wish to, while supporting them in their discoveries. I'm looking for a summer job before I start school, with the possibility of continuing something part-time while I'm in school.
