My mother supplemented her income growing up with daycare and cleaning jobs, and my dad with speculation construction projects. I learned their trades and since then I've grown a lot more fond of vacuuming and dusting than I have blackening my thumbnails with hammers and panic-inducing near misses with buzz saws. Right now, I'm a home health aide/CNA for a few fairly independent clients who really only need companionship and someone who can clean hard to reach areas of their homes, so much of my time is spent beautifying. It's not a job I take lightly, either. I believe that all aspects of CNA work lend to a client's overall health and sense of well-being, and a clear living space engenders a clear mind. Young or old we could all use that perk in our lives. I'm a perfectionist with a strong eye for detail. I take obsessive offense at dust and dirt, grime and mildew. I won't have any of that in my home and I sure won't leave yours until you've deemed it perfect.
