About Wilkinson

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, creative, and patient. My skills include CPR and basic first aid certification and experience with various disabilities and special needs. One thing you should know about me is that I'm transgender/nonbinary and use he/him pronouns. The only time this really comes up is when kids have questions. I answer these at face value and in an age appropriate manner. You won't hurt my feelings by trying to learn. I like working with kids because they crack me up and teach me new things. I love watching the kids I work with learn and grow. I love the flexibility working in childcare provides me. Please note: I don't own a car/driver's license, but I'm well acquainted with lyft and the bus. I started working with kids when I graduated high school around 2017. Since then, I've worked in one preschool and various summer programs. In my spare time, I like to make and teach arts and crafts! I also love to play with my family's pets and watch cartoons.
