About Whitney

I'd describe my personality as grounded, independent, and extroverted. I like working with animals because I understand them more than people and being in their presence gives me a pure form of joy. I'm looking for a job that allows me to make more animal friends and hopefully meet some cool people too. I started working with animals pretty much as soon as I could walk. I grew up with many and still have quite a few. I have worked in animal care, wildlife rehab, and conservation biology. In my spare time, I like to crochet, read, check in with my plants, listen to podcast, rearrange/add to my tank enclosures, etc. My pet care skills include all of the above(?). I've been taking care of animals my whole life. All kinds, large and small mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds, pets, live stock, wildlife, etc.
